What is SEO? SEO is an acronym of Search Engine Optimization, which is use to increase website visitors or users. In a standard term, SEO defined as a methodology of techniques, tactics and approaches to escalate the number of visitors to a blog or site by gaining top ranking position in the search results page (SERP) over top search engines in the World.

Who is the father of SEO?
Bruce Clay, popularly known as “Father of SEO“. Since 1996 a well-known recognized leader in search marketing world. In 2013, he got “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the History of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Advisory.
When did SEO begin?
According to the Search Engine Journal (SEJ), the story of SEO began in 1997, but it is also said as the search engine marketing began in 1991 with the launch of the first website.

What are types of SEO?
There are mainly three different types of SEO. These all are using globally according to demand and the terms align with Google guidelines.
White Hat – It is time taking process, adhere Google Webmasters guidelines. It is considered as ethical method and less risk to practice. World top reputed content marketing organizations such as Search Engine Watch, Moz, Search Engine Journal, etc. all use and recommended white hat seo techniques to gain online presence, reputation and value for money.
Black Hat – It works bit faster than white hat seo techniques, but does not follow Google guidelines. This works for the short period with no guarantee of ranked pages. Using black hat seo could risk your website rank lower, be banned from search results, or demoted with the next time Google updates.
Grey Hat: This is measured as less risky than Black hat, but these days grey hat practices are also not safe for a site. But of the companies still using in the forms like Clickbait, link exchanges, paid links, etc.
Technical Types of SEO
On Page Techniques – Heading Tags, Title, Meta descriptions, Alt attributes, Anchor text, etc.
Off Page Techniques – Link building, online directory submission, listing, etc.
